Oshkosh Defense Secures $42.3 Million Contract to Boost U.S. Army Reserves’ Preparedness

Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a branch of Oshkosh Corporation, has secured a substantial $42.3 million contract to supply trucks and related kits. This includes the installation of Enhanced Container Handling Units (ECHUs) specifically for the U.S. Army Reserve, under the Family of Heavy Tactical Vehicles (FHTV) framework.

This significant order highlights Oshkosh Defense’s unwavering dedication to equipping U.S. Army Reserve units with versatile and mission-ready vehicles, essential for domestic emergency responses, training programs, and overall operational preparedness.

The U.S. Army Reserve plays a crucial role in supporting active Army efforts in logistics and maintenance operations. They also provide valuable assistance during civil emergencies and disasters.
