HAVELSAN Launches Groundbreaking ADVENT-AI at SAHA Expo

Introducing ADVENT-AI: HAVELSAN’s AI-Driven Innovation for Enhanced Decision-Making

Recently unveiled at SAHA Expo 2026, ADVENT-AI represents a major leap forward in agile decision-making and situational awareness. Developed through collaboration with the Turkish Naval Forces Command’s ARMERKOM, this AI-enabled approach is designed to tackle the complexities and asymmetric threats found in today’s operational environments.

ADVENT-AI, the next evolution of the ADVENT combat management system, successfully integrates artificial intelligence to enhance mission effectiveness. Its primary goal is to seamlessly incorporate AI-supported data processing, analysis, and decision-making capabilities within the operational landscape.

What sets ADVENT-AI apart is its capability to continuously process and interpret incoming data rather than just displaying it. Advanced algorithms analyze sensor tracks in real time, employing anomaly detection to identify irregular patterns early. This feature empowers operators to recognize potential risks sooner and take appropriate actions effectively.

Designed for enduring operational challenges, ADVENT-AI is equipped with visual detection and classification capabilities that sustain continuous tracking, even in environments impacted by electronic warfare and signal disruptions. By consolidating information from diverse sources into a unified AI-supported tactical picture, operators gain a clearer, more structured operational view without the need to navigate multiple data layers.

The platform also incorporates predictive support functions, offering AI-based models that provide estimations during engagement phases. This assists in enhancing firing outcomes and facilitating informed decision-making. Concurrently, the system aids in maintaining navigation and platform safety by closely monitoring the environment and flagging potential hazards early on.

User interaction is made easier with a voice-assisted interface, enabling operators to issue commands through natural language. This functionality aims to minimize manual workloads and sustain operational focus during critical situations. Additionally, a smart monitoring layer operates in the background, ensuring performance tracking and supporting operational readiness.

ADVENT-AI is built on a modular architecture, which allows for the gradual integration of artificial intelligence capabilities into the ADVENT ecosystem. This modular approach supports ongoing development, adaptability to various operational needs, and scalability across multiple platforms.

While select AI modules are currently under exploration and testing on unmanned naval systems, broader integration is anticipated under a phased roadmap. The system is structured to function under human supervision, where AI provides analysis and prioritization, leaving the final decision-making authority with the operator.

Insights from HAVELSAN CEO Mehmet Akif Nacar:

“Our mission with ADVENT-AI is clear: to help operators make quicker, reliable decisions in high-pressure environments. We view artificial intelligence as a tool to enhance human judgment, not to replace it.”

With the introduction of ADVENT-AI, HAVELSAN marks a significant advancement in integrating artificial intelligence within combat management systems, enhancing decision-making processes to be more agile, efficient, and resilient in complex operational settings.
