BlackSky Secures $25 Million Multi-Year Contract Enhancing Defense Capabilities

HERNDON, Va. (April 22, 2026) – BlackSky Technology Inc. (NYSE: BKSY) has successfully secured an impressive $25 million, multi-year Assured contract with a key international defense customer. This subscription agreement is set to significantly advance the customer’s national space capabilities, ensuring access to high-quality 35-centimeter Gen-3 imagery along with real-time AI-enabled analytics to meet the operational demands of various military branches.

The customer has rapidly integrated capabilities from BlackSky’s latest Gen-3 satellite, which was efficiently commissioned within a week of its launch last month. With four Gen-3 satellites currently operational, BlackSky has made its services generally available to a global clientele.
