
ASELSAN Welcomes NATO’s Secretary General: A Dialogue with Mark Rutte
ASELSAN, the leading defense technology company in Türkiye and Europe’s fifth most valuable defense firm, recently welcomed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte at its Gölbaşı Technology Base in Ankara. The event highlighted ASELSAN’s innovative and advanced multi-domain defense solutions portfolio.
During the visit, ASELSAN presented its state-of-the-art capabilities, including the Steel Dome multi-layered air defense system, land platforms, naval systems, electronic warfare technologies, and UAV payloads. This comprehensive display reflects ASELSAN’s integrated approach to fulfilling the dynamic requirements of modern warfare. The meeting also allowed Mark Rutte to engage with ASELSAN’s young engineers, emphasizing the company’s commitment to innovation and development of human capital.
The agenda included an extensive review of ASELSAN’s robust serial production capabilities. The delegation toured advanced manufacturing facilities and assembly lines, showcasing crucial components of the Steel Dome architecture along with flagship systems from ASELSAN’s core areas. This visit underscored ASELSAN’s ability to deliver interoperable, scalable, and mission-ready solutions, supported by superior production excellence.
