An important milestone was achieved in 2018 with the establishment of Saab Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary based in Abu Dhabi. This facility, located in Tawazun Industrial Park (TIP), serves as a hub for the development and production of various defense and security products.
Additionally, Saab has formed a joint venture in the region with Gulf Air Space Co LLC (GACO), known as Saab Middle East LLC, in which GACO holds a 51 percent stake and Saab retains 49 percent.
