
Yahya Shaheen Alhammadi Takes the Helm as Managing Director of Raytheon Emirates
Raytheon Emirates Limited has made a significant appointment by naming Yahya Shaheen Alhammadi as the new managing director. Raytheon, a prominent entity under RTX (NYSE: RTX), is poised for innovative growth under Alhammadi’s leadership.
Having previously held the position of director of requirements and capabilities at Raytheon Emirates since 2025, Alhammadi is set to spearhead the company’s commitment to enhancing defense localization and developing strategic partnerships within the UAE’s defense sector. His focus will be on cultivating local expertise and driving innovation to deliver advanced defense systems sustained by a robust local industrial base, aligning with the UAE’s overarching strategic goals.

Prior to his tenure at Raytheon Emirates, Alhammadi held key leadership roles within the UAE Armed Forces and the Gulf Cooperation Council Unified Command. His rich experience in logistics, defense systems, and procurement programs will be instrumental in further enhancing the UAE’s indigenous defense capabilities and solidifying its industrial base.
