Rheinmetall doubles its syndicated credit facility

Rheinmetall has successfully renewed its syndicated credit line in a proactive move, increasing its volume from €750 million to €1.5 billion. This strategic decision comes as the company has reassessed and expanded its core banking group to include additional international banking partners.

The new line of credit creates significant financial flexibility for Rheinmetall, aligning its financial structure with anticipated growth. This initiative not only solidifies long-term relationships with existing core banks but also broadens the company’s banking network through the inclusion of strategic partners.

This renewal marks an important milestone in the evolution of Rheinmetall’s financing strategy. In May 2026, the company successfully placed a €500 million bond on the capital market. The expansion of the credit line signifies a broader financial base, enhancing the Group’s fiscal agility for future developments.

Klaus Neumann, CFO of Rheinmetall AG, stated, “Rheinmetall is on a dynamic growth trajectory. By renewing and doubling our syndicated credit line ahead of schedule, we are creating additional financial leeway at an early stage for the Group’s further development. At the same time, we have further developed our group of main core banks and added strategic international partners. Following the successful bond issuance in May, this is a further important step towards consistently aligning our finance structure with Rheinmetall’s future growth.”

The newly established syndicated credit line will serve general corporate purposes for Rheinmetall.
