KONGSBERG to deliver Remote Weapon Systems to Poland
KONGSBERG has secured a contract to supply PROTECTOR RS4 Remote Weapon Stations (RWS) as part of the K2 programme for the Polish Armed Forces.
This contract includes the provision of RS4 systems for three variants of the K2 platform:
- K2 Main Battle Tank (MBT)
- K2 Armored Recovery Vehicle (ARV)
- K2 Combat Engineering Vehicle (CEV)
Initial deliveries of the systems for vehicle integration are anticipated to commence in spring 2027. The agreement also encompasses an Integrated Product Support (IPS) package, which will include initial spare parts, training, and various support services.
