CAMDEN, N.J., July 23, 2026 — L3Harris Technologies has secured a contract from General Dynamics Electric Boat to provide battery monitoring systems for the U.S. Navy’s Virginia- and Columbia-class submarine programs.
The battery monitoring systems from L3Harris are essential for maintaining submarine readiness and effectiveness. They offer real-time assessments of battery health, allowing commanders to optimize mission profiles effectively.
