Roketsan – ROKETSAN Attends FIDAE to Develop New Collaborations in Latin America
ROKETSAN, Türkiye’s leading center for missile, rocket, and ammunition technologies, participated in The International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE) held in Santiago, Chile, from April 7 to 12, with a clear objective to foster new collaborations.
As one of Latin America’s most distinguished events highlighting space, defense, and security, FIDAE 2026 brought together participants and visitors from various regional and global locations. ROKETSAN showcased an array of its advanced rocket, missile, and ammunition technologies to key industry players throughout the fair.
Murat İkinci, CEO of ROKETSAN, underscored the significance of the event for the company, stating: “FIDAE 2026, hosted by Chile, holds great value for us. At this fair, our next-generation defense systems provide us with a direct platform to present our capabilities and competitive strength to military representatives from countries across the region. We aim to open doors to new collaborations with regional countries through the meetings held here. With these steps, we anticipate making significant contributions not only to our company’s global presence but also to Türkiye’s relations with the Latin American countries in defense and advanced technologies.”
During FIDAE 2026, ROKETSAN highlighted several innovative systems from its Smart Gliding Munition Family, including the MAM-C, MAM-L, and MAM-T. Additionally, they showcased the UAV-230 air-to-surface supersonic ballistic missile, as well as the KARAOK short-range anti-tank missile from their anti-tank arsenal.
ROKETSAN also presented its robust air defense capabilities, featuring the SİPER Long-Range Air and Missile Defense System, the SUNGUR Air Defence Missile System, the LEVENT Close-In Weapon System, and the MİDLAS National Vertical Launcher System. Furthermore, the ÇAKIR Cruise Missile and the ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile were also part of the cruise missile portfolio on display.
In addition to these advanced systems, ROKETSAN exhibited the AKYA Next-Generation Heavyweight Torpedo, ORKA Next-Generation Lightweight Torpedo, along with the TRG-230 and TRG-300 Missiles for the benefit of participants at the event.
