Roketsan – ROKETSAN, Leaves Its Mark on SAHA with Debut Systems

ROKETSAN, Türkiye’s leading company in rocket, missile, and munition technologies, made a significant impact at the SAHA 2026 International Defence, Aerospace and Space Industry Exhibition by presenting nearly 40 systems, including four that made their debut.

The SAHA 2026 International Defence & Aerospace Exhibition, hosted at the Istanbul Expo Center, is organized by Turkey’s and Europe’s largest industrial cluster, SAHA Istanbul. Since its inception in 2018, SAHA has become a pivotal venue for the defense, aerospace, and space industries, attracting thousands of participants from May 5 to 9, 2026.

ROKETSAN showcased its four new next-generation systems at SAHA, which exemplify Türkiye’s noteworthy advancements in defense and aerospace technology and underscore the nation’s growing global role. The newly unveiled systems—NEŞTER, CİDA, Mini Cruise Missile, and CİRİT C-UAS—garnered significant interest and praise from attendees. Additionally, as the opening ceremony area sponsor of the exhibition, ROKETSAN displayed nearly state-of-the-art systems, many of which have been combat-tested.

Murat İkinci, CEO of ROKETSAN, reflected on the importance of the SAHA 2026 International Defence, Aerospace and Space Industry Expo as a strategic venue that showcases the Turkish defense industry’s achievements on a global scale. He emphasized SAHA’s growing prestige and the substantial interest it has garnered within the global defense and aerospace sector.

In comments regarding ROKETSAN’s involvement, İkinci stated, “We are showcasing approximately 40 of our products, including air defense and missile systems, the impressive capabilities of the Steel Dome Project, our globally recognized UCAV munitions, and our anti-tank missile systems. SAHA also serves as a crucial platform for introducing new products. The interest shown in our newly launched systems NEŞTER, CİDA, Mini Cruise Missile, and CİRİT C-UAS underscores this. We developed these systems using national resources to effectively meet operational demands on the field. With the support of our nation, we will continue to innovate and fortify our national defense capabilities while advancing towards a fully independent defense industry.”

Introducing ROKETSAN’s Four New Defense Systems

The systems unveiled by ROKETSAN at SAHA 2026 are poised to transform operational dynamics in their respective fields, boasting exceptional technological capabilities.

CİRİT C-UAS, a new variant of the well-established CİRİT Laser-Guided Missile line, offers a cost-effective alternative to high-cost air defense missiles intended for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. This system enables effective target engagement within appropriate ranges before more expensive platforms and munitions are required against aerial threats, featuring a proximity sensor and an anti-UAV warhead.

CİDA is an advanced addition to the long-range anti-tank missile systems, designed to meet operational field requirements with outstanding accuracy, thanks to its beyond line-of-sight capability, extended range, and rapid strike capabilities. This system, with greater engagement range than competitors, serves as a force multiplier, integrating seamlessly into land, sea, and air platforms.

Mini Cruise Missile represents a next-generation solution that balances cost-effectiveness with high operational impact. It significantly enhances battlefield strike capabilities, particularly against air defense systems, through its extended range, heavier warhead, and adaptability for multiple carriage configurations. Additionally, it carries visual intelligence-gathering capabilities from the target line.

NEŞTER is a variant of MAM-L munition crafted for precision strikes while minimizing collateral damage. Distinct from traditional solutions, its unique warhead incorporates metallic blades that deploy shortly before impact, targeting specific threats without causing widespread destruction.

Showcasing Next-generation ROKETSAN Technologies at SAHA!
