US Army Selects L3Harris for Next-Generation Night-Vision System
LONDONDERRY, N.H., April 13, 2026 — L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) has been awarded a significant contract by the U.S. Army to provide its advanced NOVA™ night-vision goggle system, supporting the Binocular Night Observation Device (BiNOD) program. The contract, spanning seven years, has a total value of up to $465 million, and is part of the Army’s ongoing efforts to enhance its operational capabilities.
The NOVA system is a helmet-mounted binocular device that increases situational awareness for the U.S. military and its allies by providing all-hour, all-weather visibility. Equipped with L3Harris’ sophisticated image intensifier technology, the system is specifically designed to meet the operational needs for over two decades.

This award for the BiNOD program builds upon L3Harris’ prior contributions to existing U.S. Department of War night-vision initiatives, including the Enhanced Night Vision Goggle – Binocular (ENVG-B), of which over 20,000 units have already been delivered.
