Roketsan – ALPAGUT Smart Loitering Munition System
The ALPAGUT Smart Loitering Munition System, developed by Roketsan, is designed for versatility and effectiveness in various operational conditions. Capable of operating both day and night, ALPAGUT can engage mobile or stationary land and sea targets, including radar systems, communications equipment, critical facilities, personnel, and targets of opportunity.
ALPAGUT offers impressive operational flexibility, functioning in both single and swarm configurations, with a remarkable operational radius of 60 kilometers and an endurance exceeding 60 minutes. It is compatible with various types of warheads to enhance mission adaptability.
Upon launch, ALPAGUT enters a mode of target detection, tracking, and evaluation, allowing it to hover while feeding real-time video images back to the operator via its onboard TV/IIR seeker. Once a target is identified, the system autonomously attacks after receiving approval from personnel on the ground.
Equipped with a dual-mode seeker, ALPAGUT is capable of detecting and recognizing targets while remaining stealthy against jamming systems. An onboard guidance and control system pinpoints the target, ensuring precision engagement. This system provides users with substantial advantages through its fire-and-forget capability, as well as its rapid integration potential into manned and unmanned land, air, and sea platforms.
