YUMA, Ariz., Oct. 13, 2026 — In a notable achievement, L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) along with the United States Army Special Operations Aviation Command’s Systems Integration Management Office has completed the inaugural flight demonstration of the L3Harris Red Wolf™ air-launched effect from an MH-60 helicopter. This successful test paves the way for the integration of L3Harris’ launched effects air vehicles with Black Hawks and other H-60 variants.
The flight demonstration validated the compatibility of the launch system and showcased the flight characteristics in an operational scenario. This builds upon previous successes involving launches from fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and ground-based platforms.
“This flight demonstration marks a significant milestone in our mission to deliver multi-domain capabilities that warfighters can rely on,” stated Quinlan Lyte, President of Advanced Effects at L3Harris. “By pushing the boundaries of what our launched effects vehicles can do and expanding the platforms from which they operate, we are staying ahead of the threat to remain mission ready.”
L3Harris’ Wolf Pack, which includes Red Wolf and Green Wolf™, signifies the company’s expanding portfolio of modular vehicles designed for long-range precision strike and non-kinetic effects.
This recent milestone also signifies the 60th flight demonstration for the Wolf Pack portfolio.
