Roketsan – ROKETSAN Showcases Next-Generation Defense Systems in Qatar
The 9th Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2026) has commenced in Qatar, attracting thousands of participants from around the globe from January 19 to 22. ROKETSAN is showcasing an extensive array of advanced defense systems, reinforcing Türkiye’s robust presence on the international defense landscape.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, and organized by the Qatar Armed Forces at the Qatar National Convention Centre, DIMDEX 2026 unites global industry leaders, decision-makers, and experts. ROKETSAN is demonstrating its diverse capabilities at the event, featuring UAV munitions, anti-tank systems, cruise missiles, and air defense solutions.
Murat İkinci, CEO of ROKETSAN, emphasized the significant strategic partnership between Türkiye and Qatar during his remarks regarding the company’s participation in the exhibition. He stated, “DIMDEX, held in Qatar which is one of our most important strategic partners in the Gulf region, holds great significance for us. As a trusted, long-term solution partner to Qatar, we are showcasing a selection of our flagship products at the exhibition. Building on the high-level strategic relationship between Türkiye and Qatar, we are also pleased to contribute to bilateral ties through our defense exports. As in previous years, we consider DIMDEX 2026 as an important platform to further deepen our cooperation with Qatar and countries across the region.”
Bringing together leaders, defense ministers, naval commanders, government officials, and industry executives from around the world, the exhibition serves as a critical platform for ROKETSAN to present a comprehensive range of advanced systems. Among these offerings are the Smart Gliding Munition Family—MAM-C, MAM-L, and MAM-T—alongside anti-tank solutions such as the CİRİT Laser-Guided Missile, KARAOK Short-Range Anti-Tank Weapon System, OMTAS Medium-Range Anti-Tank Weapon System, and the LUMTAS-GM Laser Guided Long-Range Anti-Tank Missile System. The air defense capabilities on display include the SUNGUR Air Defence Missile System, the LEVENT Close-In Weapon System, and the MİDLAS National Vertical Launcher System, in addition to the ÇAKIR Cruise Missile. Also featured are the KMC-U Tactical Missile Weapon System and the KHAN Weapon System, underscoring ROKETSAN’s commitment to innovation in defense technologies.
