Continuing to enhance its capabilities, the AKINCI UCAV has integrated various indigenous subsystems and munitions. This latest test highlighted its operational prowess as it scored a direct target hit during a firing exercise utilizing the Morfoz Guidance Kit (MGK), developed by Aselsan through national technological capabilities.
FIRST FIRING TEST SUCCESS
The test flight commenced from the Çorlu Flight Training and Test Center in Tekirdağ, with AKINCI equipped with the MGK, entirely developed with local components, and the Alpagut munition from Roketsan and STM. The test took place over the Gulf of Saros where AKINCI successfully hit the designated target with the MGK before returning to base.
DIVERSIFIED INDIGENOUS MUNITIONS
As part of its developmental journey, the AKINCI UCAV has successfully integrated numerous indigenous munitions, including MAM-L, MAM-L TV, MAM-T, MAM-T IIR/TV, MAM-C, the TOLUN munition family, TEBER-81, TEBER-82, LAÇİN, LGK-81, LGK-82, HGK-82, GÖKÇE Guidance Kit, GÖZDE Guidance Kit, KGK-82-SİHA, and several supersonic missiles. This extensive range of munitions equips the AKINCI with versatile capabilities to engage a broad spectrum of targets effectively.
