Saab signs long-term agreement for camouflage systems with the Netherlands

Saab has entered into a multi-year agreement with the Netherlands, enabling the Royal Netherlands Army to order and equip their vehicles with the advanced Barracuda Mobile Camouflage System.

Henning Robach, head of Saab’s business unit Barracuda, expressed pride in supporting the Royal Netherlands Army through their multispectral camouflage solutions, which enhance the protection of vehicle fleets from detection by modern sensors, ultimately strengthening operational survivability and mobility on the battlefield.

The initial order pertains to the Royal Netherlands Army’s current fleet of Fennek and Panzerhaubitz vehicles. Furthermore, the agreement includes options for future equipping of additional vehicle platforms.

Designed for versatility, Saab’s Barracuda Mobile Camouflage System offers tailored applications for diverse environments, featuring customizable woodland, urban, or arctic camouflage patterns to meet operational needs.
