Dubai Airshow 2025 Gathers Global Trailblazers | Dubai Airshow

DUBAI, UAE – 7 October 2025 – In a significant convergence of global aerospace expertise, senior decision-makers and industry leaders assembled in Dubai to discuss the strategic priorities, innovations, and collaborations guiding the upcoming Dubai Airshow 2025. This event is taking place under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The press conference showcased insights from key figures including Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports; H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, UAE Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency; H.E. Omran Sharaf, Assistant Foreign Minister for Advanced Science and Technology Affairs; H.E. Khalifa Al Zaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South; Major General Marwan Abulkarim Julfar, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Port Affairs at Dubai Police; and H.E. Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. Other notable attendees included Khabeer Hamed Mohamed Al Sayed Al Hashimi from Dubai Police, Eugene Barry, Chairman of the Dubai Airshow Project Board, Brigadier Mohammed Obaid Al Marshoudi, Deputy Executive Director of the Military Organising Committee for Dubai Airshow, and Tim Hawes, Managing Director of Informa.

This meeting marked a crucial alignment of ambitions as the Airshow is set to commence on November 17th.

The 19th edition of the Dubai Airshow, themed ‘The Future is Here,’ will place a spotlight on advances in sustainability, AI-driven innovations, advanced mobility, space exploration, and the development of next-generation talent. This year’s event promises to be the largest yet, with participation from over 1,500 leading aerospace and defence companies spanning 47 countries, and an anticipated 148,000 visitors.

Exhibits will include over 200 of the most advanced aircraft, more than 120 startups, 50 investors, and a lineup of over 350 speakers sharing insights across over 120 hours of content through 12 conference tracks, with seven new additions. The Airshow will see participation from 396 military and civil delegations representing 115 countries, 440 new exhibitors, and 18 country pavilions, enhancing its diverse representation from 150 countries.

This year also introduces four conference stages, including one new addition, with an emphasis on topics such as sustainability, defense, and space. Notably, electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft will join the flying display, while the ‘Airshow After Dark’ initiative is set to transform networking with evening runway-side events and performances. The Space Pavilion will break records as the largest ever, featuring a two-day conference program, high-level networking, and immersive showcases.

New activations will feature a 5K event on the Dubai Airshow runway, part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, alongside static aircraft displays, Youth Circles, the Inspiration Zone, SkyBites by Emirates Flight Catering and Emirates Leisure Retail, and interactive experiences with Falco, the official Dubai Airshow mascot. The event prioritizes wellness through the XWELL-presented Wellness Zone, which includes initiatives from the Dubai Health Authority such as the Sensory Dome and Breathe In Pod, along with health checks provided by Saudi German Hospital.
