
Roketsan – Roketsan Exhibits Its New Generation Defence Systems In Indonesia
Roketsan, Türkiye’s leading center for missile, rocket, and ammunition technologies, showcased its next-generation defense systems at the Indo Defence Expo, a premier defense industry fair in Southeast Asia, held in Indonesia.
Organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, the Indo Defence Expo brings together various players from both regional and global defense sectors. The event took place in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, from June 11 to June 14, offering participants extensive opportunities to explore and collaborate on the latest defense technologies, aviation and maritime systems, as well as security equipment and strategies.
This year’s Indo Defence Expo marked its 10th iteration, featuring defense industry companies from Indonesia, the Asia Pacific region, and beyond, showcasing their technological advancements. Roketsan, recognized globally as Türkiye’s defense industry ambassador, participated in the expo with an array of systems designed for air, land, and maritime defense.
Murat İkinci, CEO of Roketsan, noted their commitment to fostering partnerships within Asian markets, stating, “Through this expo, we aim to strengthen Roketsan’s longstanding ties with Asian countries. Hosted by Indonesia, one of Türkiye’s significant allies in the region, we proudly present our systems, each recognized for their superior performance and proven success in operational scenarios.”
At Indo Defence, Roketsan introduced an impressive lineup of munitions, including the MAM-C, MAM-L IIR, MAM-T, and İHA-230 Air-to-Surface Ballistic Supersonic Missile from its UAV munitions. The company also showcased the KARAOK Short-Range Anti-Tank Missile, OMTAS Medium-Range Anti-Tank Missile System, and the L-UMTAS Laser Guided Long Range Anti-Tank Missile System among its anti-tank offerings. In the air defense category, attendees could view the SUNGUR Air Defence Missile, HİSAR-O Air Defence Missile, SİPER Long-range Air and Missile Defense System, LEVENT Close In Weapon System, and the National Vertical Launcher System (MİDLAS). Additional highlights on display included the ÇAKIR Cruise Missile, ATMACA Anti-Ship Missile, TRG-122 Missile, TRLG-230 Missile, TRG-300 Missile, KHAN Missile, TEBER Guidance Kit, and the BARBAROS Coastal Defense System.
