Built in Britain for Britain: A landmark achievement underscores the UK’s manufacturing prowess, sovereign capabilities, and defense preparedness.

Telford, UK, 25 June 2026 – Team Boxer UK has celebrated a significant milestone with the delivery of the 100th Boxer Mechanised Infantry Vehicle (MIV) to the UK Ministry of Defence. This accomplishment highlights the effective utilization of the UK’s sovereign manufacturing capabilities and the ongoing progress of one of the nation’s pivotal land defense programs.

The Boxer vehicle is pivotal for the British Army, offering a highly protected, modular, and versatile platform that is fundamental to the Army’s future operational capabilities.

Achieving the 100-vehicle landmark not only marks a critical moment for the program but also emphasizes the successful establishment of two production facilities in the UK. Boxer vehicles are manufactured at Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) in Telford and KNDS UK in Stockport, underscoring the strength of British defense manufacturing and the capability to deliver intricate armoured vehicle programs from domestic facilities.
