Paris, France, 17 June 2025 – In a significant development for the Airbus A400M programme, Airbus and OCCAR have finalized an agreement with the launch nations. This pact ensures sustained production for the A400M program in the foreseeable future while also focusing on enhancing operational cost efficiency and jointly pursuing advanced capabilities.

France and Spain have expressed their commitment by planning to accelerate the delivery of four and three A400M aircraft, respectively. This commitment underscores their dedication to upgrading their airlift capabilities.

As part of the agreement, Airbus is dedicated to improving operational costs through optimized maintenance and efficiency strategies.
