
Northrop Grumman to Offer Advanced Ground Based Radars to Romania with ROMARM
BUCHAREST, Romania – July 1, 2025 – Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with ROMARM, a prominent Romanian state-owned defense company, to collaborate on providing an advanced ground-based radar system for the Romanian Air Force. This cutting-edge radar will enhance capabilities and performance against the most sophisticated threats currently faced, while also ensuring interoperability with the command-and-control systems used by NATO members, including the United States.
During the signing ceremony, key figures from both organizations were present, including Luis Vlădoiu, director general of ROMARM; Alexie Cotan Bodolan Constantin, chairman of the board of ROMARM; Sabrina Aflalo, senior program manager at Northrop Grumman; Michael Hahn, senior program director at Northrop Grumman; Craig Doty, manager of business development at Northrop Grumman; and Wiame Legsai, senior regional strategy and business development lead at Northrop Grumman. The event marked a significant step forward in strengthening Romania’s defense capabilities.
Greg Teitelbaum, vice president of land and maritime sensors at Northrop Grumman, remarked, “Our industrial partnership with ROMARM will deliver a proven, ready-now solution to help strengthen Romania’s security against evolving threats.
