KONGSBERG and Logipix International Corp. to advance airport airside solutions

KONGSBERG and Logipix International Corp. have formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing airport operations by leveraging advanced imaging technologies. This agreement builds upon the existing partnership between the two entities, particularly focusing on the integration of Logipix’s imaging solutions within KONGSBERG’s remote and digital tower initiatives.

Logipix is renowned for its ultra-high-resolution panoramic imaging, low-latency video, AI-driven computer vision, sensor fusion technologies, and augmented-reality applications tailored for airside monitoring. Hans Lie, Vice President of Market & Sales at KONGSBERG, expressed the company’s dedication to bolstering airport operations through innovative, mission-critical technology. He stated, “KONGSBERG is committed to helping airports strengthen situational awareness and support safe, efficient operations. Logipix imaging technology is already integral to our remote and digital tower offerings. This MoU builds on that cooperation and enables us to explore further applications of Logipix’s capabilities, ultimately creating more value for our joint customers.”

According to Mike Broggie, Chief Operating Officer of Logipix International Corp., the synergy between KONGSBERG’s extensive knowledge in the airport domain and Logipix’s advanced imaging solutions holds immense potential. Broggie remarked, “KONGSBERG brings significant systems-integration expertise and a proven track record in high-stakes operational environments. By aligning our high-resolution imaging, sensor fusion, and AI-assisted monitoring technologies with KONGSBERG’s capabilities, we are poised to offer airside customers a more holistic operational perspective.”
