PİRANA KİDA Hits Target Under TB2 Control at TURNAs-2026
During the TURNAs-2026 Exercise, the kamikaze unmanned surface vehicle PİRANA successfully engaged and destroyed a surface target while being remotely controlled by the Bayraktar TB2, utilizing a 100-kilogram warhead. This achievement marks another successful mission for PİRANA, which previously demonstrated its capabilities at the DENİZKURDU-I Exercise.
PİRANA KİDA:
PİRANA is designed for both single-use and swarm operation concepts, minimizing detection risks with its low radar cross-section and special coating. Its coordinated maneuvers effectively distract enemy radar and defense systems, facilitating the successful destruction of targets.
Equipped with radio frequency (RF) and satellite communication (SATCOM) capabilities, PİRANA can operate remotely or in autonomous mode, ensuring seamless command and control over long distances.
With speeds exceeding 40 knots, high maneuverability, and an operational range of over 200 nautical miles, PİRANA, armed with a 100-kilogram warhead, provides an effective solution for quick response and long-range operations.
