
A Collaborative Capstone: L3Harris at Project Convergence
Delivering Assured Platform Interoperability
The foundation of the experiment was built on assured communications that spanned all domains and interoperable platforms. This setup created a data-rich environment vital for rapid, intelligent data sharing over an agile mesh network, which proved resilient against jamming and interception attempts. The utilization of unbanded frequency ranges, combined with an open-systems framework, offered extensive communications planning options under the PACE (Primary, Alternate, Contingency, Emergency) method.
Integral to this capstone event, the L3Harris Falcon® radio transport systems, specifically the AN/PRC-163 and AN/PRC-158C, operated within the transport layer to provide high-throughput Mobile Ad hoc NETwork (MANET) and protected waveform connectivity, ensuring reliable communications under all conditions.
Dominating the Spectrum with DECEPTOR™ EW

The compact Deceptor™ modular electronic warfare (EW) payload facilitated autonomous electronic warfare operations through L3Harris’ Distributed Spectrum Collaboration and Operations (DiSCO™) ecosystem. Demonstrated in various Army experiments throughout the year, the Deceptor system showcased its capabilities by providing AI-enabled sensing and effects across the battlespace. This technology integrated with KHA K1000 unmanned aerial systems to effectively detect and geolocate threats while fusing data from multiple sensors, thus executing radio-frequency jamming to neutralize enemy threats across the electromagnetic spectrum.
