TITAN: Cutting-Edge ISR, Delivered Fast
The battlefield advantage always lies with those who can see and decide more quickly. The U.S. Army’s Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node, or TITAN, represents a significant leap forward in capturing and maintaining this edge.
TITAN is the Army’s next-generation, artificial intelligence-enabled ISR ground station, engineered to minimize the time between detecting a threat and responding to it. Unlike legacy systems that demand extensive analytical processes and impose a heavy workload on operators, TITAN streamlines data collection from multiple domains (air, land, and maritime), delivering vital intelligence to commanders faster and more efficiently.
This cutting-edge system is currently in production.
A Partnership Built to Execute
L3Harris is at the forefront as the lead communications systems integrator for the TITAN program, providing the essential architecture that underpins its advanced intelligence capabilities. This includes tactical multi-domain waveforms, as well as crucial positioning, navigation, timing, and satellite communication functionalities.

Palantir plays a vital role by leading the software and AI integration, transforming raw ISR data into actionable intelligence. The collaboration between these two companies has significantly alleviated the analytical burden previously required for mission support, culminating in a system that not only gathers intelligence but also equips commanders with decision-grade information at unmatched speeds compared to traditional systems.
The streamlined user management interface offers operators a cohesive platform to oversee multiple simultaneous network and data connections. This integration of rapid processing capabilities with resilient multi-domain networks enhances the Army’s ability to target earlier, fire quicker, and engage adversaries from greater distances.
“Our partnership with Palantir is developing exponentially through this venture and our teamwork,” stated Shawn Miller, President of Spectrum Superiority, Communications & Spectrum Dominance at L3Harris. “Our team is devoted to rapidly deploying this capability to meet the needs of the warfighter.”
A $53 Million Commitment to the Warfighter
In September 2026, Palantir confirmed a definitive $53 million contract to L3Harris for TITAN Production Phase IV. This award signifies the formal progression of the program from prototype development to full-scale production, emphasizing the Army’s urgency in fielding this technology.

Earlier this year, Palantir designated L3Harris as the Lead System Integrator (LSI), directing system-level integration and testing from the company’s facility in Salt Lake City. The vehicles are on-site, and work is already in progress.
What truly makes TITAN revolutionary is its array of converging technologies. The fusion of AI-driven analysis, robust multi-domain communications, and a unified operator interface equips commanders with a previously unattainable, coherent picture of the battlespace, delivered in a timely manner to enable decisive action.
L3Harris is in the production phase and integrating both Advanced and Basic variant systems through the processes of integration, testing, acceptance, and delivery.
“We anticipate the initial vehicles will be delivered in early 2027,” noted Miller, “and our team is committed to quickly bringing this capability into the field.”
This confidence stems from a proven track record. Throughout the various stages of TITAN’s development, the collaboration between L3Harris and Palantir has consistently fulfilled its commitments, establishing a solid execution record necessary to transition from prototype to full production.
The Capability the Warfighter Has Been Waiting For

The joint force has long required a ground station that can adapt to the rapid pace and complexities of modern multi-domain operations. TITAN not only meets this demand but establishes a new benchmark for ISR ground stations and their operational speed.
This commitment translates into tangible results: a production contract, a delivery roadmap, and a partnership that demonstrates its value and reliability.
The aim was for a system capable of surpassing adversaries in range, speed of decision-making, and precision. TITAN fulfills this request, standing as the most sophisticated ISR ground station the Army has ever deployed, and it is on its way to the field.
