Saab receives order for GlobalEye

Saab has announced a new order for its advanced multi-domain Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) system, GlobalEye. This development emphasizes Saab’s dedication to delivering mission-proven capabilities to its customers.

Micael Johansson, President and CEO of Saab, stated, “This order underscores our commitment to providing customers with mission-proven, multi-domain AEW&C capability. The increasing international interest in GlobalEye reflects its effectiveness and reliability in modern air defence operations.”

GlobalEye integrates a comprehensive suite of active and passive sensors, which facilitates long-range detection and identification of airborne, maritime, and ground-based objects. By enabling real-time data sharing among joint forces, GlobalEye significantly enhances situational awareness and allows for early threat detection.

In adherence to industry protocols regarding customer confidentiality and national security interests, Saab will not disclose further details about the order or the identity of the customer.
